Open Innovation Day (OID) is an annual series of in-depth discussions and business
matching, initiated by the National Agency for Technology Entrepreneurship and
Commercialization (NATEC), MOST Vietnam. OID 2025 is organized by the Open Innovation
and Technopreneur Institute (OITI), Technology Incubation Center (TIC), and Global Green
Growth Institute (GGGI), with the companionship of SoiHub, Saigontel, Qualcomm, Business
Finland, WorkFlow, and other partners.
The program is part of the lead-up activities to the Autumn Economic Forum (HEF)
2025, directed by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and coordinated by the
Vietnam Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Ho Chi Minh city (HCMC C4IR), in
collaboration with city departments, the World Economic Forum (WEF), international
organizations, and major domestic and global enterprises.
With the theme “Technology Breakthroughs – Fostering Green & Digital
Transitions”, OID 2025 focuses on promoting science, technology, innovation, and the green
& digital transition across pioneering sectors, including infrastructure, smart cities, energy
transition, new materials, and supply chains,… The program aims to build a multidisciplinary
platform connecting businesses – localities – startups – academia – experts to jointly address
practical development challenges at sectoral, national, and regional levels, while shaping
technology trends for a sustainable future.
